So the sam modeller estimated my mean uai at 74.9 ......my uai ended up bein 69.6....A difference of 5.3 and I haven't seen any bigger differences. Does anyone know why this is? Did everyone go heaps better in comparison to past years? Is it because my school gets crappy results every year?? Any help would be appreciated....

Nothing to do with your school. It means that more people getting your marks in your courses did worse this year compared to the rest of the state.

Obviously you didn't read the whole SAM site. SAM shows you what your UAI would have been in PREVIOUS HSC years, if you had got the marks you did. It's not impossible to have a dif. of 5.3, i know someone who had one of around 5.

I ended up getting about 6.5 lower than SAM predicted.
