Hey all!
I was reading up on Illness and Misadventure but I'm still not exactly sure of how it works... Basically, I have my Ancient History Exam on Monday, HOWEVER, over the past 2 days I have been affected by the flu which I believe I contracted off of my mother, whose work has been in lockdown over the past 2 weeks for the flu (she is a nurse). If I am still ill by Monday, should I lodge an application for Illness and Misadventure? Will they accept the flu as a reasonable excuse if my exam performance is affected? Also, if they do accept it... What will happen? My Ancient History teacher has suggested that I go for Illness and misadventure, as my school assessment is 95, but I'm not sure if this will help or not?
Thanks in advance for any help I can get! I'm going to try my best to study and perform to the best standard I can regardless, so let's hope I can overcome the flu by Monday!
