i did - you're talking about maze prison riots yeah?
i basically talked about how it was a turning point for several reasons
changed focus of PIRA campaign from violence to more of a propaganda/political outlook
changed international view of PIRA operatives (from essentially guerrilla types to freedom fighters) and also of the British gov (as they were seen to be heartless in the treatment - i.e. the cardinal stuff etc which is a huge step from before where they were just seen as ineffective)
also it triggered international opinion to deteriorate to the point where nations began to intervene (as can be seen from peace negotiations involving the republic and US in the following years - due to their outrage etc)
