I have two all time favourite books: High Fidelity, and 31 Songs, both by Nick Hornby. High Fidelity is ever so slightly better, but the two are my all time favourites, I've read them both literally dozens of times cover to cover, and I still love them both to bits.

my favourite book is "darksong" by isobelle carmody. she's aussie and she write fantasy... but its so much more. it discusses life questions about happiness and finding one's place in the world. the first book of this trilogy is "darkfall" which is just as fabulous.

i am impatiently awaiting the third book... but if the time in between the first two is any indicator, i think ill be waiting for another couple of years
