I'm trying to transfer into USYD combined law (com/law). I've finished one year of Applied Finance/Law at Macquarie. I got a UAI of 96.7 and in uni got 4 HD's and 4 D's. I hope my marks are good enough... will find out on 21 Jan! :D

what if you make transfer into different course, yet in same faculty?
do you still need to do this through uac?

Go on uni websites and look at their transfer policies, some have internal transfers and such, though a few are done through UAC

Lou, just so you know it is too late to transfer through UAC main round and probably internally as well, if your uni and faculty requires internal transfering. I know that transfering between faculties in Usyd requires UAC but not sure about within faculties.

If you are trying to transfer in 2010 then there is still time though. Dunno which faculty you want, but I've found Law and Arts. Couldn't find Com.

FAQs - Future students - The University of Sydney
Transfer to Arts - Future Undergraduate - The University of Sydney

It is best to ring the faculty.

wondering about a consequence,.,,
what if you applied to UAC for transfer and didn't get accepted at USYD?
do you continue doing the course which you received offer in first year?
is there a way of moving to another course even through you
didn't get to transfer?

Moving to another course is transferring so obviously you can't change courses if you don't get the transfer

i didn't mean that. seems you don't get it,
i asked the person what course the person was doing and
was it ok to get d for that person.
i asked about the person's personal opinion.
