I've seen so many near the W6A carpark. One was this chick who ran into this poor bogan's ute. Instead of stopping, she shrieked, let go of the wheel, but kept pushing her car down the side of the ute. Such a horrible noise. :-\

This other time, I saw another chick reverse out of a spot, hit a car on the other side of the lane, and drive off as if she didn't notice anything. She probably didn't.

Sorry didn't see or even hear about a crash at E1.

She probably got home and was like !#*!* someone scratched my car! I feel sorry for the owner of the other car. God help someone if they scratch my car when I'm around....

Since everyone else is sharing car crash stories from uni I will to. I once saw a chick reversing into a spot and she reversed to far (and to fast so maybe she hit the accelerator inside of the brake?) and hit the concrete wall at the back. Since I usually catch the bus I sit right near a speed bump and watch how fast people go over them it's funny watching them go over to fast and smash the front of their car down on the road then it's even more funny when they go really really slowly over the next one like nothing ever happened even though everyone at the bus stop saw them. I've seen many near misses with buses pulling out in front of cars (and nearly running over pedestrains) at the bus stops, it's a daily occurance.

ive had several things happen to my car whilst in the uni car park.

Someone broke into my car (unsuccessfully but managed to f up the key ignition )
Someone broke into my car (successfully breaking my car lock and stole my stereo)
I Bumped into a lady in front of me (i being very careless, i stopped, i insisted she take my lic number and contact details even though she said, no harm done, no scratches and just to forget about it)
My car was apparently bumped into and witnessed by security, they left a note... I didn't care, I didn't notice a scratch, plus i drove a shitbox back then so any new scratches blended with the old). I went to see security anyway and they informed me that the other person's car had very noticeable damage)

Lesson: Don't park your car at uni, unless you are willing to take the risk of it being scratched, broken into or bumped into.

I witnessed the accident. I might be willing to testify in your defense if $500 happens to fall out of your wallet and lands neatly in the pocket my wallet.

Muwahahahaha. No, I'm serious. Pay me.

Ive been pretty paranoid about parking my new car at the uni, given that my previous car lasted a whole week before being broken into. I wish they installed cameras in the parking. I would prefer to pay higher fees just to have that added surveillance.

That, and so many people running into other cars and driving off without leaving a note.

what kind of new car do u drive?

i was thinking the same thing that i wouldn't leave my new car in the uni car park.... but... i think with newer cars and their immobilisers, their alarms, special locks etc... i don't think that car theives would find them as attractive as the older cars.

I mean if someone managed to break into my new car and got pass the immob and the alarm.. they wouldn't be able to steal the car stereo system because its built into the dash and theyde have to steal the whole dash to steal my stereo and if they did tht... well then they deserve to take it i say

Someone tried to steal my 91 Camry Wagon, it must've cost 200 if I had taken it in for a trade in, but they couldn't get past the lock lol

Kio Rio. I installed an alarm a week later, I also always put a steering wheel lock on my car (just a habit), and my radio/CD player is coded so if they take it out it doesn't work. I think it is unlikely they would be able to get through all that, but my main concern is that they attempt to get in and break the locks (which is what happened to my old car).

Haha yeah me too.
Firstly they are massive and also the ones between the car park and where the new library is gonna be aren't painted in the same way as a normal speed bump which makes them almost invisible so when I was driving there for orientation I went over it really fast cos I just didn't see it.

Back in 2005 some moronic fucks tried to steal my CalaisTurbo during one of my exams. Luckily, the alarm sounded and scared the pussycats away. I decided never to drive it to university again.

After failing to steal my car, they decided to steal another student's RX-7 and succeeded.

I feel sorry for these losers;— too pathetic to earn their way through life.

Actually, they're lucky I didn't catch them, I was deep in training for an upcoming boxing fight at the time and I would've been more than obliged to reorganise their facial features for free.

I had some similar experience as well
A fkin cantonese with his silly gal opened his passenger door and bumped it to my driver door when I was napping in my car, they didnt say even" I'm sorry", pretended to be nothing happened.
