I didn't know Canberra roads at wet conditions are deadly, especially combined with the roundabouts.

I went out at around 9:30pm, doing about 80kph on the highway and approached to a roundabout, didn't brake enough and at the exit experienced very bad understeer, hit the side kerb, and flew onto the kerb.

Damages: front left wheel significantly damaged, suspension damaged, rear wheel went flat, and a injured right arm due to the impact with the concrete kerb.

Later i went on the road and realized just how slippery it is. Later i found out with the dry climate in Canberra the oil don't tend to get washed away as often, and when it rains roads gets very slippery.

so the lesson is, drive slow, especially at wet conditions because your tyres are not working as what you would expect during dry conditions. Also im really glad i didn't hit anyone.

normally with the car 80kph around the two lane roundabout in dry conditions would be fine, but usually I go around at 60kph or less. I am not very familiar with Canberran roads and this roundabout was after a small bend, so it is can only be seen when you are about to approach it, and plus it was also built on a small downhill slope.

Later on I was told the roundabout was new and it used to be just a straight two line highway. It was only built last year because an organization along the road couldn't get its staff's cars onto the highway without waiting for a long time for a traffic gap during the rush hour.

Add wings to your car that pop out fifty meters prior to obstacles, you'd be going fast enough to reach a take off speed so no worries.

AHAHAHA fuck me has to be a troll. no one is this fucking dumb.

1. Roundabouts have speed indication signs that tell you what the safe speed to go around them is. I have never seen one above 40, even in Canberra.

2. Are you fucking thick or what you retard, of course the road will be slippery in the wet you spick. Of course oil builds up over dry periods and the road becomes more slippery. This happens everywhere you dumbcunt.

3. No, when would going around any 2 lane roundabout at 80km/h be fine you fucking moron. Unless you were the stig with a 911 gt2 and even that would be a struggle.

4. It doesnt matter that the roundabout is after a corner or on a slight hill, they have signs warning you of the upcoming roundabout you fucking dickhead.

5. I wish you had died a slow painful death because us 'normies' shouldnt have to put up with fucking speds like you on the roads.

got the feeling i got trolled eh

those ones in canberra u cant do at 80 anyway, mainly because they're like 3 lanes wide or some shit and you cant possibly stay in your lane whilst fanging around it at 80
