Yeah, I agree here. I reckon, using my school as a sample space, mid 50's mark would be around the borderline E4. But then again, depending on your rank, you might need to compensate a bit. Definitely a final E3 HSC mark, possibly E4 but it's tight.

Yeah, low 50's will be a high E3, 48 should be mid-high E3.

Using the answers posted in the forum's what mark would this give? And would it give a band 6?

It will give roughly ~93 and no, it won't give a Band 6 - it will give Band 4.

I'm hoping i that my mark will get me an e4. It will be very close. After looking at the solutions i'm on 53/84 and i could possibly get 2 or 3 extra marks for some working in a few questions, depends on the marking. If i can get those extra marks, and if the cut off is a bit lower this year i might manage it, but i don't think it's likely.
