Lucky you're so good at science. I'm absolutely miserable at anything that I can't bullshit my way through.

On a completely unrelated note, we have the same ATAR goal! -waves- I was thinking about aiming for that elusive USYD graduate med (sandstone omg ./gasm), but you're the first person I've met who actually wants to do it.
I'm only good coz i route learn everything :D Teachers think I'm smart but really i just read the chapter before they taught ;P
High-five! Woot woot med school togethers MP! Yes, totally aim for it! I mean someone's got to get it, right ? :)

In all honesty, you should really focus on English more than Ext Maths. Ext maths you're bound to get a really good aggregate as long as you listen in class... and have clear understanding of the work ( ask questions if you dont understand ).

Hey Eg155, just a question, on your sig. If you really want to do Medicine, why don't you have the other unis in your sig? Like wouldn't you be shooting for it everywhere if you truly wanted to do it, like UoN/UNE, UWS, UNSW, Griffith etc. You're not falling the USYD sandstone trap are you? USYD is overly hyped on here generally, especially if you want to go straight into undergrad med and wanted to stay in Syd, UNSW (or even UWS) would be better. It's not all about prestige, there's sooooo many other factors to choosing uni/course.

Well anyway at the end of Yr 10, I was all like USYD but with greater reevaluation, I've seen there's fantastic aspects of other unis.

:( At this thread. I never study...
Same.

Anyways, how about this schedule for me (early prelim):
40 minutes for Maths - 20 mins for 2U and 20 for 3U
20 minutes for Adv English
20 Minutes for Economics
20 Minutes for Physics
20 Minutes for Business Studies
1 Minute for 1 unit (Photography)
2 hours and 1 minute sounds good?

Times may increased or reduced for certain subjects during assessment(s) time. But, this plan is basically during non-assessment time.

So how are you factoring in homework? Is this schedule like.. not including homework? I think a better plan would be to
a. finish all your homework
b. work on any upcoming assignments/study for assessments
and then c. do any extra study you want to do in the time you have remaining

^ This. Most of the time, this is the only thing that works over a longer period of time.

I plan to do all of that within half an hour max as an average everyday, of course it'll be increased whenever I need more time.

30mins? D: How do you get through your homework so fast?!
Really depends on the subject. For Maths, I will usually rush through my homework so I can spend time evenly spread across my other subjects.
We'll see how it goes!
Since I go tutoring for Maths, I'll probably spend less time for Maths and more time on my other subjects.

Lol, yea I reckon i should consider others. If I got into UNSW i would be stoked because that would mean i passed the UMAT! :D haha
mmm i like the view from Syd uni's campus; my friend's bro goes there and we had to pick him up, let's just saw it was ammmaaazzing ! :)
Also, i think Syd uni is the only one that has RPA hospital as an option for residency. As I was born there and i love that hospital, my dream is to work there :D

i would also like Melbourne uni for Biomedicine...sounds really good...actually would choose it over sydney but it's in another state... :(
