It's a case-by-case basis - one calculator may be more accurate for one person but less accurate for another.

what about the years on the matrix calculator?? which should i use?

2011 = 95.15 2010= 95.25 2009=96.80

To be honest all should give u a reasonable range, use all of them just to get a feel of what you should be getting close to, i mean sometimes as many have noted can be brutally off either way so :/

It just doesnt seem right - like, I used my old marks and it worked pretty well. Then I tried someone else who had better marks than me in subjects with roughly equal scaling and the estimate was a lot lower.

I tried the top 3 and dux calculator, hopefully dux is correct out of all the calculators LOL

I hope so too!

And yet between the results I get from Dux and the other calculators there's a range of (off the top of my head) 8 marks.

atarcalculator.com.au gave me an atar of 75.25 when i put my english mark as 75 but if that english mark was 78, the atar becomes 86. Where as dux, talent 100 and matrix all gave me 86-88 range. So which one is being honest here or am do i just wanna see what i want to see?

Given the disparity this year, I wouldnt place much faith in the calculators. Try them all and see which ones correlate - but dont place too much trust in them.

I have estimates from 5 different calculators, and there's about 0.5 difference between the lowest and highest estimate.

I think there's something wrong with the matrix one it's giving me an estimate of 81.10 when the atarcalculator.com.au gave me 94.45...
