Omg... AMOW was horrible. I kept failing it, so the TSO kept having to reset the exam for me.

If you fail it you have no chance of passing first semester uni.

I don't think it's accessible until semester begins.

Edit: Never mind, check your zmail. You should get an email telling you that you can take it and how to access it.

Lol maybe the reason you guys can't find the quiz is because it's not up yet - the semester hasn't even started lol.
Anyways it's just some casual BS - do it in some spare time whenever in like the first month or 2nd month. It says you gotta to it by a certain date but you can delay off for a while. Obviously you should do it early on and get it out of the way.
Nothing serious - it does take some time I think like 20-30mins. Anywho - it's easy and it's just to make sure you know about plagiarism and all that stuff.

LOL you were meant to study off some info they had on the ELISE site and I only realised after I passed... But the study tips, referencing, etc is quite useful.
