Yeah, completely devastated by 4U again (repeat of trials lol... 4U has been downhill from 1st assessment for me).

Looking at 58-62/100 as an estimate.

I'm hoping E4 cut-off will be low 60s this year (so I can get 89 externally lol and 90 internally then E4 final mark~~ ideally).

EDIT:

After some proper checking, 62-64 looks very possible.

Ruse and NSB have around 4 100% raw each. So I'm guessing cut off will be higher :(
I dunno, I know two of the NSB guys and after a bit of a chat one of them realised he lost a couple marks. I think it was just a comparatively easier test to other years.

If anyone was wondering how the marks were distributed across topics:
Complex numbers - 18
Polynomials - 6
Conics - 8
Graphs - 8
Integration - 16
Volumes - 5
Mechanics - 15
Harder 3u - 24

Didnt realise there was so much complex numbers haha
I'm a little disappointed in the lack of Harder 3U :/

So so disappointing!
Praying for a pass in my raw marks which somehow correlated to an E2-E3!!
Ran out of fricken time!!! T________T
And what was that last question! Mechanics and conics.... Two of the worst topics combined!!

I think I was holding back tears after that exam.

I got 92 in trial, and this I expect high 60s. Will that make E4?

Found this very difficult. Without silly's I could've achieved 75 but i began to feel very sick at start of exam + general difficulty.

I also hate the new format of the exam. Give me back the old, nice structured exam

Too much harder 3u, complex, not enough conics and VOLUMES!

Wat raw mark would correlate to state ranking?
I reckon there will be quite a few kids at/near 100. The last question was doable, whereas in other years, is where all the very top kids would have lost their marks. 100 is certainly on the cards this year.

You'll find a lot of the top kids lose their marks on sillies rather than how hard the question 16 (or 8) is.

Could anyone out there with a bit of exam knowledge tell me what 40/100 would scale to? That would be the minimum mark I got but I don't think I got over 50.

Not bad of an exam, looking at Carrot's solutions cost myself a few i should have got. Still most likely get 69-70, surely that'll be enough for an E4. Right?
