Enrol into 3 courses, then you have to ask the School to enrol you into the 4th course. Ask after you have made your timetable because they enrol you into the course, rather than them changing some setting so you can.gotta wait till tuesday for mine :/
For clash approvals do you have to contact the faculty before or after you have made your timetable?
3 hour tutorials!!! WTF!!!
Everything except the MMAN3000 tutorial is fixed. Yay.
Excited!!!3 hour tutorials!!! WTF!!!
refer to this thread: http://community.boredofstudies.org...wales/298629/math1131-math1141-lecturers.htmlFor MATH1241, which lecture stream has the 'better' lecturers: Apro NJ Wildberger and Prof WK Schief vs Dr T Britz and Dr JD Steele?
Clashing with what? The time slots are designed such that there won't be clashes if students follow the standard plan structure.does anyone know why MMAN1300 only have one tutorial slot? this is obviously going to give a lot of people clashes
COMP1921 and MMAN1300. On Tuesday 2pm - 3pmClashing with what? The time slots are designed such that there won't be clashes if students follow the standard plan structure.
well it's only a lecture; do you think i could get that clash approved?Yes, there's a clash between the MMAN1300 tutorial and COMP1921 lecture - you can't do anything about that. The reason is that MMAN1300 is also a first year elective, but it is also a core for Mech streams. I think they also need to consider the likelihood of someone doing MMAN1300 and COMP1921, because they do 'recommend' Mech streams to do CHEM and MATS as their first year engineering electives.
I think that clash is extremely uncommon.
Yes, 1 hour clashes will be accepted.well it's only a lecture; do you think i could get that clash approved?
Scumbag civil engg faculty wont approve my 1hr lecture clash because i wanted to do a 3rd yr subYes, 1 hour clashes will be accepted.
btw, Rectangles and Octangles doesn't show classes that are On Hold.COMP1921 and MMAN1300. On Tuesday 2pm - 3pm

http://www.timetable.unsw.edu.au/current/COMP1921.html#S2S
I used rectangles (http://mahler.cse.unsw.edu.au/rectangles/) and it says every timetable is clashed and there are no possibilities. But when I look at the timetable it says there is another time slot available so I don't think that they have updated their stuff
I have also checked with A/Prof Jay Katupitiya and he said that COMP1911 will count towards the degree but he highly recomends I do my own private study to make later year courses easier
what about circles?btw, Rectangles and Octangles doesn't show classes that are On Hold.
That shows everything shown in https://my.unsw.edu.au/classutil/index.html including full classes and cancelled/tentative/stopped/closed classes.what about circles?
