where's redfern wtf. isn't redfern worse than sydenham.
Redfern’s like near the city, surrounds suburbs like Central (well not rly a suburb but ye) or Waterloo, haven’t really heard of any issues which have happened in the past in Redfern...

Would really depend on the suburb. I feel like much of Sydney as long as you take reasonable precautions then 5 am would be fine.

Bruh I haven’t even heard of some of these places like where the heck is Westleigh

Sydney streets are overall safer, at least from my experience living in the Eastern suburbs. I think you’ll be fine although maybe if it is at 5am and there’s people around while it’s reasonably dark I would try to not stay on the same road as others if possible.
safe, proceed to mention that you live in eastern suburbs LOL.

damn sydenham popping off.
I think this is a function of sydenham being such a tiny suburb and having lots of like factories and industrial lots as well as a skate park (dodgy vibes but surely will be gentrified in a few years) but a low population of actual residents.

lol if you wish
Bomb threats happened at least twice throughout my whole high school. For reference, ALWAYS TAKE YOUR BAGS. I was too stupid to do so (couldn't get the teacher to stop shooting daggers at me) and had fuck all to do with no food nor water for 5 fucking hours.
Anyway, first one was when a cyclist nearly mowed me down (missed by ~10cm). The second one was when I nearly got t-boned.
Woah. Serious stuff man. I’m glad you’re okay now. 🙌🏻

Redfern has gentrified heaps in the past decade (similarly the case for a lot of western suburbs). Not to say those problems don't exist anymore but they're certainly far less prevalent.

Probably not that exact model explicitly but just electric scooters in general.

Like how everyone calls all perma markers “sharpies” or all tablets iPads.

More importantly, how has this person not seen people ride around on these around eastern suburbs?

As long as you don't go too west, you're good.

I'm from a south-west suburb, we have the occasional drive-by/stabbing but if you're not part of the gang stuff, you're fine. They'll usually leave you alone just wear a hoodie and a mask or something, look like a local like you belong there lmao.

Idek I swear I haven’t seen anyone ride em but I don’t go out a lot so maybe that’s why lol
