How is everyone preparing and feeling for the HSC? (1 Viewer)

Hi there, just wanted to see how everyone was going in preparation for the Software HSC, especially as it is a new course.

Oh no same but for me it’s mostly the python and algorithms (should’ve done it earlier fr)

Bit nervous, but I know everyone else is in the same boat since this is a new subject. Also have 13 units so this doesn't need to count for my atar if I bomb it

I rlly hope the python questions are like, medium difficulty like I spent a whole day doing practice HSC style questions for python and SQL on Saturday and I'm pretty sure the HSC is gonna be on another difficultly level entirely

Python and Algorithms are what I feel most confident about. There's just so much other content and information you need to remember that they might not even ask about, since they only have 80 marks for the exam.

Istg if there's questions on ANYTHING from the mechatronics yr 11 topic (somehow idfk ) I'm doomed

I rlly hope the python questions are like, medium difficulty like I spent a whole day doing practice HSC style questions for python and SQL on Saturday and I'm pretty sure the HSC is gonna be on another difficultly level entirely

I hope they take pity on us fr - tbh surely the python questions can be is max 10-12 (this was the case in all the trials I saw which is 3 so correct me if im wrong)

Wait i thought most ppl were doing it on their own laptops im kinda thankful because i would make SO MANY typos if i was on another computer

Same here, but its like in the middle of our school next to one of the largest walkways, so there was talks of just moving computers to a different room for the HSC, since only two of us at the school were doing the course
