I think the mastering HSC mathematics extension 1 and 2 series are excellent. I used them in conjunction with Cambridge.

They did the same thing last year with Q16 a which was from Q21 page 65 and problem 1 page 66 from Jonathan Le Mastering HSC Maths.

I think today’s exam slightly more difficult than 2021. But scaling has been pretty similar last 4 years.

If you look at the scaling of the extension 1 maths HSC over the last 4 years, it’s been fairly similar. This years will be the same.

Yes. Had to divide numerator and denominator by e raised to 2 theta and then it all worked out.

MCQs about same like last year. Q11-13 probably a bit easier than last 2 years. I struggled with the integral in Q13 until I realised you had to divided numerator and denominator by e2 theta and then it was easy. Question 14 was hard but not as hard as last 2 years. I couldn’t get out the...
