Our class kind of did the whole related text thing in 2008... got them out of the way early. Back then I did Pan's Labyrinth and Donnie Darko. Two great movies :). A lot of good Romantic tenets and stuff as well... generally speaking, lol. We also did Wuthering Heights, Northanger Abbey and...

There's certain stylistics you'd need to pay attention to that relate specifically to art... obviously the context of the artwork is important, so remember your Romantic paradigms, tents, conventions etc. If you're going to discuss an artwork you just need to pay strong attention to texture...
