Re: FAQ: Late Round Offers
Hey,
I was wondering how EAS scheme at UNSW works for second round offers?
It says that your not eligible if your already enrolled, so if I enrol in my first round offer,
does that mean my eligibility for the access scheme at UNSW is void?
I remember the HR said PWC offers 60ish positions across all the differen areas- but then they look for quality over quantity..
I believe most/all the positions for the big 4 have probably been offered, seeing EY and PWC are having their celebratory dinner (or so my friends tell me).
Btw, does...
Hey I was wondering If I did business services at a mid tier firm- what is the possibilitiry or opportunities of moving to say a bank such as mac. Bank or say an industry specific company such as amex, QANTAS etc? after I graduate.
I'm just weighing the pros and cons and the long term results...
can you accept a cadetship but if you get a co-op reject the cadetship?
The offers for bacc only come out on 16th right- they dont phone you up like the big 4 prior?
but with a cadetship ur kinda guaranteed employment when you graduate, whereas bacc ur not, although it is a 100% employment rate[from what ive read]
I was also wondering, if u get a cadetship at a mid-tier firm, do you have a better chance of getting a grad. Position at a big 4?
so far I haven't gotten past any interviews- because with the big 4, they usually get back to you within a day or 2. So I'm expecting a rejection email soon.

This is kinda a tricky question.. but I was just thinking about it..
can anyone shed some light?
Thanks.
Congrats to all those who have managed to gain interviews.
I was wondering- for the mid-tier/large firms what means do they usually try to contact you?
and is it really important to go to the PwC insight night tomorrow?
Nope, i'm located in Sydney.
As i mentioned, I did work experience with the firm, so the HR there knows me. I literally got a reply within 5 mins.
If your looking to apply at ESV its a really good firm with a great rappport amongst the team. Yeh, applications close tomorrow :D
I got through to the personality test for KPMG, but stuffed it up and didnt get any further. For PwC, i got a phone interview and i got through to an actual interview, and i got an interview with a mid-tier firm ESV group ('cause i did work exp. with them and I reckon it went really well, so I...
