    Bloody Brecht

We went to see some STC workshop. It was pretty silly actually, talking about the convetions of epic theatre then presenting them with the conventions of dramatic theatre. We kinda left very confused... but then we went to Taco Bell and we forgot the whole thing!

    Creative Arts Schools

Hmmm... So many decisions. Here's my main problem, got given a UAC guide today and when I finally figured out how to use it I discovered that there was only one course I was really interested in doing. That being the Acting for Screen and Stage course at Wagga Wagga. In any one else out...

    The Individual and Society

Oh.... in the 19th century, when people felt compelled to write, they wrote a lot. You see, it was impertinant and inappropriate to drop somebody a short note. Especially if you were a young couple who weren't engaged. See the letters in P&P. There's some epics there.

    The Individual and Society

Bah. Each to their own I guess. P&P is just a little to convenient for my tastes. Elizabeth Bennet is convenienly individualistic and I don't think she's worthy of the hero worship that some bestow on her. And how would austen know about individuals is society? She spent her life as a recluse...

    The Individual and Society

Yeah, Browning is pretty awesome. I love Poryphia' s Lover as well. Very Twisted. I think Browning is the most effective texts because you can take the whole individual in society thing from his poems as well as the man himself, that is, in regard to his renaissance values. Two for the price of...

    Bloody Brecht

Man.... Stoopid Bloody Brecht. Anybody else studying this dude? I wanted to do 17th Century Comedy. I wanted to laugh. But nooooo. 'Epic Threatre is Great!' says my teacher. No. It's stupid and I would apprieciate it very much if somebody out there actually understands how to write about...
