Yeah she was in Eastenders or something like that, but in Battlestar Galactica the actor who plays Lee Adama is British as well, so it doesn't surprise me :P Brits are usually very good at the American accent, ala Hugh Laurie as House :D
I just watched the pilot, i thought it was pretty good. although i am a bsg fan, so it was awesome seeing katee sackhoff and like 50 other bsg castmembers as extra's and stuff :P

but thats the point, if you're able to get your degree quicker and easier at city campus, then its not a true MQ degree! IF you want to get work experience, then go get a job, go get an internship for a year, go find out about the industry, dont just shortchange yourself to get a degree quicker...

i dunno bout prelim english, but im doing power and culture and we talk ALOT about Michel Foucault, perhaps have a look at some of his work on power (try Discipline and Punishment, especially the chapter on Panopticism). Interesting stuff ;)
i just wiki'd it, its The Magical Adventures of Mumfie, about a little pink elephant who had no one to play with and would go to her letterbox every morning and hope there was a parcel filled with adventure but then she gave up and went into the woods searching for adventure :)
