    tutorials all full?????

I tried to enrol in BCM100 but I was 5 minutes late and ALL the tutes were full. I emailed Nicola Evans (subject co-ordinator?) but I'm nervous I will get stuck with a really crappy tute or nothing at all. I'm doing a double degree with creative arts and got all my first choices fine.

    Creative Arts Tutorials

Ok cool, thanks. I got onto SOLS and was able to find a timetable... and I emailed the faculty and they open on the 16th of Feb (in case anyone is interested). Only prob now is that it seems I have either a lecture or a tute everyday... damn.

    Family's reaction to your UAI?

I got 96.65... my dad was on the net when I got it and said "so hard work pays off", my mum msged me congrats and my teachers are ecstatic. Exam Question

I chose question 8, I like either the structural, P.M or cultural Qs and the other two were too specific for my liking. I used Ai Wei Wei, Andy Goldsworthy, Anselm Kiefer and Ricky Swallow. I think it went well... better than section 1.

    Exam Question

What exam question did you choose? Why? How'd you find it? What artists did you use?

    General exam thoughts?

I thought the paper was OK. Question a.) confused me, how do they represent his world? I don't know... they're realistic and so the audience his imagination... that's what I went with. b.) was OK, but I was again like, well obviously her choices influence her artmaking practice and c.) was OK...

Help! How to get rid of stress!

Find a bit of a balance between having a life and study. Also actually look at the weighting of your assessments and realise that when you have an assessment worth 5% it's really onlt 2.5% becasue your assessment marks are only half of the it. Anyway that helped me a lot, finding that my In...

How do you feel you went in the art making 50%?

I thought I went well in my BOW, I got 49/50 internally, but just found out I didn't get nominated for art express which I'm a bit bummed about, but hopefully I cans till get a good mark. Does anyone know what marks they give for you to be selected?

    studying...

yes, been having exactly the same problem. I have had a week to study for art since ext eng and planned to do a practice paper every day, but have onely done one. But art is OK, you don't really need any specific knowledge for Section I and just use what you know for Section II.
