Sort of a difficult question to answer given that that's an odd system of marks - every other uni i've encountered follows the standard HD = 85+, D = 75-84, C = 65-74, P = 50-64... So, to translate into the more usual terms - to get a decent D which would be high 70s/80 ish - it's not a...

Yes... of couse, different unis mark harder/easier.... :rolleyes: You need to be of a certain calibre to maintain a D average at any uni. It was just as easy/hard to get D's at Usyd as it was at UWS and my employer recognised that. They didn't care where I was when i received Distinctions...

you probably got it if you're 2nd year n if you're doing a standard 3 year course because next year you can choose to do all those varied kinds of things :)

lol it's always easy to tell the difference between law students and non-law students coz you guys ask for the statement of law, wheras law students look for the controversial obiter because they know ratio doesn't exists hehe :wave:

Re: comm/law Finance majors Its the same reason as why hs students pick an arts or commernce degree - they have no ide awhat they want to do and have a very unrealistic view of what the content involves and what job opportunities they will have afterwards :p

My elder sister goes to CSU and their careers resources are virtually non existent - from what she tells me, even if UWS did cut the programs they'd have more in practice than she has access to. Just because the programs are cut doesn't negate the value of the uni. The purpose of year 12 is to...

Of course.. because you can speak for the entire student body as to whom uses what. It is partly to do with the new Medical school - whenever there has been a deficit in the funds for the Medical school, something just so happens to be cut from somewhere else. There have been press releases...

actually not really... the process by which teachers are hired for selective schools are the same as every other school.... selective schools are actually less likley to get 'good quality' teachers as, when non-selective schools establish G&T units which i'm pretty sure is 'expected' now...

don't bs your credentials - you can't have topped english in year 12 - people called Minal, Mary and Amy are on the Top achievers in course list for 2unit, someone called Jessica was in the list for ext1, and no one from BH High School was on ext 2 list... so at least 3 people did better than...
