I actually prefer my timetable to that because although you have an extra day off (i have like 1 lecture on monday that finishes at 9 so i pretty much have a 3 day week) all your classes are in the middle of the day. I like being finished early.
Oh, well thats disappointing. Whats your opinion on my timetable mr bean? I guess i have to get it right this time around. I want to be able to work a job 2 maybe 3 days during the weekdays as well as doing uni.
Hey my post was moved from the general university discussion to the MQ forum. This was about uni timetables in general, not just for macquarie. Could an admin move it back please?
yeah i know i can change it now, thats what ive been doing today. im wondering if i can change it during the semester though, in case the timetable turns out to be bad for me.
Yeah that lecture on monday i cant really do much with it the only other times are wednesday which i dont want because i want at least 1 day without uni, and tuesday from 4-6 which i dont want cause id like to work tuesday afternoon. If it helps, im very close to MQ, a 10 minute drive. I dont...
Ive tried to organise it so i can work hopefully 3 days during the week. Will this leave me too little time for study? Any other opinions from uni students would be really appreciated because im just starting uni this year.
I'm trying to put in my classes for psy 104, and it has two options, stream 1 which involves 1 lecture, and stream 2 which involves 2 lectures. What does all of this mean??
I'm trying to put in my classes for anth106, but all the classes are full. It says to contact the department. Who do i contact and how? Is it a huge trouble to organise if the class is full? Is it worth just withdrawing the class and choosing another one? Thanks.
I have enrolled at USYD, but I applied for MQ in the final round (and got the offer i wanted) because i am still deciding which uni I should choose. USYD is 1 hr away from my house, but MQ is only ten minutes. If that was the only variable i'd choose MQ in a heartbeat, but i'm worried that there...

Hey guys any more help would be great, because i received my final round offer for MQ, and im not sure when i have to accept it by, so i want to make my decision quickly.
Thanks!
Hey guys i appreciate your help but my post had absolutely NOTHING to do with prestige! That doesn't matter to me at all!
I'm just wondering if its worth staying at usyd because of the extracurricular/social side of it, despite the hour long travel time compared to MQ, which probably has less...
Thanks for the replies guys, but prestige isn't my concern whatsoever. The main reason i chose syd over mq is cause i was worried mq would have next to no extracurricular/social stuff, and end up being really boring. thats my only concern. Now i need to think about that in relation to the travel...
I was offered a place at USYD for a bachelor of science, but I'm unsure as to which uni i should go to. The reason I picked USYD over MQ in my preferences is because it has way more extracurricular/clubs/social stuff, which is kind of important to me because i don't want uni to just be: i go...
