Yea its only the assessments that count -if u miss an assessment, I think they use ur class marks to get an idea of where you are in the class/grade, and give you an estimated assessment mark. But otherwise, we are told class marks mean nothing to your assessment marks/HSC?ATAR

In a galvanic cell, if you have two electrodes in the same beaker, would they register a voltage if that beaker contained sea water? Or tap water? Or distilled water? or rain water?

Personally I'm going to have my holidays. If you think about the amount of studying we will be doing for assessments, half yearlies, trials and the HSC itself, why not go into the year feeling fresh, rather that dragging 2009 into 2010. I mean yeah, go over some stuff a week or so before term...

Another Question: What is the difference between a creative and a narrative? i.e. Do I have to do introduction/development/conclusion for narrative, or can I describe one particular moment like I do in my creatives?

Our English teacher has set us a Belonging narrative to write these holidays. He didn't specify how long it was, and I was just wondering how long you guys think it should be. Also, any tips on the narrative structure, besides the obvious (beginning, middle and end)?
