I read somewhere that you said you were a scientist could you elaborate on what work you did?

I am a scientist... it's about how one thinks / sees the world, rather than about what one does. My scientific training is in chemistry. I've worked at universities, including as a lecturer and researcher. I'm also an educator. I don't want to go into specifics as I contribute here under a pseudonym rather than my actual name.
