Flamearrows, my initial question was directed at Hardenne's previous post. Read his comments first. What I meant to say was that I myself think many students are only saying that they got rejected when, in fact, they got accepted.

Hardenne, do you think firms out there are really rejecting everybody? Or is that some students successful in obtaining a first-round interview are, in fact, telling others that they got rejected?

Yeah, Goan, it is bad news. There's no way I'll get Freehills. Imagine the level of competition at the interview stage!!! I've heard you need at least 3-4 interviews- that is, from different firms - to get an offer. I also did get rejected from DLA.

Clutz, Allens, Minters, Blakes and Mallesons have all started sending they're rejections out. Pity I got rejected from all.

Well, Baker & McKenzie really are the McDonald's of the Legal Profession. They have one of the lowest per-partner-profits for large sized firms.

Fuck, I got rejected from DLA. Hypertrophy, do you have any idea of why you got rejected from DLA, as you did mention that you received a first-round interview at Freehills? I also got Freehills. Hardenne, did you hear from Bakers? I just got rejected.

DLA aren't going to finish sending out their rejections by the end of the week.

Has anybody else heard back from any firms? I hear DLA Phillips Fox are still sending out rejections till the end of the week
