    MATH1231 - "Attendance is compulsory", but will I be penalised for missing only one?

    All in the title, really. I want to ditch one class to help out a friend. I regularly attend the tutorials and got solid marks in the first two tests, so it's not as if I'm slacking of that subject. No friends in that class so I can't get marked off without being there.
