Hey guys, for the projectile motion question, are we supposed to write pi/6 or 5pi/6 if it asks for the angle that the particle makes with the horizontal?
In relation to your question,
F(Net)=mg-mv
But F(Net)=m*dv/dt
Therefore, dv/dt=g-v
It is important to realise that since mg is positive, you are treating the release point as the origin in your acceleration expression.
Therefore, from the chain rule,
dt/dv=1/(g-v)
so t= integral of...
I find Probability very challenging. Personally, Probability just seems so foreign whereas Calculus is very intuitive and makes sense all the time. Is there any systematic study/learning approach that I can take in order to improve my knowledge of Probability (especially permutations and...
The essay question for 2014 Business Studies was:
"Analyse both the causes of workplace disputes and the strategies used to resolve them." (BOSTES, 2014)
This seems to be pulled out directly from the 'Students Learn To" section of the syllabus:

I don't take HSC Physics but I do take Extension 2 Mathematics. Is an understanding of the HSC Physics course content crucial for first-year engineering physics? Will the mechanics component of 4U suffice?
(I'm looking into engineering at either USyd or UNSW)
Thanks Guys :read:
