Standard doesn't affect your atar too much, I got:
Standard English - 87
Maths 3u - 99
Maths 4u - 98
Chemistry - 89
Physics - 91
and I ended up with an atar of 98.70. Getting a 90+ atar with standard english is pretty much as doable as getting a 90+ atar with advanced english

14 units is definitely a lot, however, if you genuinely enjoy all 14 units and have the time to study for all your units, then it is okay. I knew a people who have done extremely well in the HSC with 14 units.
