How does a grant work? Did you get one?
I have to make a conscious effort to NOT go into shops, or I end up buying something I really shouldn't buy, but it's hard when I have breaks around places with lots of good shops... i spent too much around the june/july sales time.

I hate message history, and refuse to keep one. It destroys all spontaneity if it's going to be scrutinised over later. If it's something important enough I'll write it down in my schedule or phone which I keep with me all the time.

I think it's a bit unnecessary to do two courses in an area as subjective as design, where the piece of paper you graduate with isn't nearly as important as your portfolio and actual work experience. So I don't understand it when people finish a degree and immediately start another one without...
