It's not as much how much you write as much it is HOW and WHAT you write.

I found them simple. Just think about them at first. I did a) what did you do?

I did Egypt New kingdom to the death of Thut IV. Answered question a) on Nubia. Overall view on the exam. Startling at first, but after applying knowledge, very very simple test. Hope i get 90+ after all, its my best subject.

Taking into consideration the size and spacing you write with, i'd say length shoudl be one of the least worrying to students. Markers want you to be concise, having an amazing, original argument backed up with relevant sources and quotes, along with the vocabulary to make it short and sweet...

If it's anything like Modern History. a) Pre-Prominence b) From prominence onwards. It seems to follow this structure in Ancient as well. Worth noting.

Come prepared for everything briefly, but take particular care in knowing past hsc questions.

Hatshepsut was a female in a male dominated position. She HAD to keep her officials happy. Think of it like a building named 'Hatshepsut' supported by a number of pillars (Senenmut, Hapusoneb, Nehsy, etc.) If these 'pillars' decide to no longer support 'Hatshepsut' the building falls.
