A mate of mine had the same problem, I gave him my old Ti4200 and it worked fine. I'm assuming a Ti4200 would be cheaper than an FX5200 if you want to go out and buy one.

So I'm guessing you have an modem/router combo? Try switching it to unbridged mode (not sure what thats called, hah) and get the address to obtain automatically.
