You still have to sit the UMAT and instead of the your ATAR, the undergrad uni's will generally use your GPA or GPA/ATAR mix for the academic threshold. However some uni's wont allow you to apply for their undergrad degrees if you have any tertiary record. Just look up their eligibility...
