For My Core i Play Otherside by the Chili Peppers to a backing track (because i didnt have enough time to get rehearsals with a band etc.), and for my elective im thinking i might give birdland a go with a band.

IMO, i dont think you would need an analysis to use this song for a supplementary text, because you present the lyrics instead. However, you would have to know the text yourself. To me, the majority of the song is distinctively visual, and would work. In fact, i just found this...

Yeah. I Think it was just coz he could. As you saw at the start though, he missed the china... but didnt do too bad. i guess. It makes it different playing guitar blindfolded though... drums are big. strings arent, neither are frets... might try that next year.... hahahaaa

Here Today, Gone Tomorrow by Spit Syndicate. Sydney Based(?) Aussie Hip Hop. Not very Mainstream (like hilltop hoods or BNE) But still good.

When i hit Year 7. Waveaid. for the Tsunami. The Waifs, Nice Cave, JBT, Silverchair, The Wrights, MIDNIGHT OIL! Thought it was all a bit old school at the time. Wish time machines existed. :)
