apparently they are starting to completely phase out the text types
its good in my opinion... when are we ever going to need to write a radio transcript on shakespeare in our life?
i did think all essays was good buuut i also thought the questions were quite challenging (mine were anyway) so...
agreed! some people here are so arrogant... just because youve got your selective schools & projected 99+ atars doesnt mean you have to go around making others (who actually found the exam quite challenging) feel stupid
yeah no i agree too
section one was a little wierd...more just saying the same thing about belonging over & over in different words rather than analysing techniques (which in my experience it usually is...)
yeah agreed
i actually thought the paper was quite challenging and a lot more specific than last year
eg. for yeats you had to speak specifically on how he showed desire, whereas last year it was just broadly on poetic techniques and themes
i completely agree! the question were so specific. like eg for yeats last year it was - how does he use poetic techniques to reveal memorable ideas = simple & broad
this year it was something about using human experience to signify desire ???
if you hadnt studied desire you had to make it up...
lol i kind of agree with alicemarie in the sense that a lot of people are being quite arrogant with what they're writing. "omg that exam was sooooooooooooooooooo easy" "i aced that exam i'll definitely be getting 19+ for all sections"
like im really happy for you and everything but it could...
