A regular season game of AFL could attract 90,000+ people to go and watch it (Collingwood vs. Geelong 2 weeks ago). Last year's NRL grandfinal didn't even sell out. If you were able to, why wouldn't you swich to AFL?

It's a big risk that the GWS team is tacking. But they must be confident in his AFL skills for 4.3m. He'll atleast draw media attention and crowds.
