    arts major: sociology or philosophy?

    I did sociology and anthropology in my first year as well as a bit of philosophy. Personally, I think philosophy would be more worth your time because it encourages you to think about things in a more versatile way. Sociology and anthropology seemed very bludgy to me, although maybe I just...

    Majoring in Jap, minoring in Chinese Studies.

    How much dedication would I need to get good grades? Like an hour on each every day or more?

    Majoring in Jap, minoring in Chinese Studies.

    I was wondering if someone could give me an idea of how hard it would be? I'm interested in learning both and feel that doing them at uni would be my best opportunity. Currently I'm trying to teach myself a bit of Chinese because I hear knowing some Chinese beforehand helps when learning...

    Japanese Studies....

    If you already know some jap then they have a test that they use to measure your fluency and the appropriate level/standard for you. I was planning to do it but I got in too late and all the spots were filled up >.>;;

It also says a minimum of 84UoC needs to be taken in both Science and Arts, with the remaining 24 UoC open to both Science and Arts courses. I just wanted...

    Questions bout Arts & Science degree...

    B. Science/Arts isn't too hard, at least for me. I think difficulty is really subjective though and also depends on which courses you choose to do. I haven't done any of the bridging courses but from what I heard from my brother they were very intensive. I think it's meant to be the entire HSC...

    Psychology at UNSW

    I don't see any disadvantages in doing that but I'm only a first year so I may be incorrect. One thing though, you may not make the transfer. I'm not sure how difficult it is to internally transfer into a different program. I think you can do it after first year but transferring to B psyc would...
