I'm doing dip social science at the moment, but I was wondering if anyone has finished a course there and knows how you go about applying for uni next year? I don't want to stay with social science I want to do social work, but if I apply through Uac what documents do I need? We don't finish...
you can get a train from canpbelltown to MacArthur and walk across, it's about a 10 minute walk if that. Trains go from ctown to MacArthur every 20 minutes or so from memory, so if the busses aren't regular or if they don't go all day that's an option
You can apply for other unis but it's not a guaranteed entry. Youll be judged the same as someone coming from tafe or any other institute with a diploma
Yeah the staff at the college don't seem to know what they're on about, everytime I call they tell me just to wait and call back or do something later. Have you got your id card yet? I called yesterday and asked if I could come in and get mine but she said their camera was under matinence (?)...
Yeah when I got my offer it was for westmead but when I went to enroll
It was nirimba, I called them. It took almost all day to fix it but you've left it a bit late so it might be because theirs no spots left at westmead, cause westmeads a much smaller campus and they don't have as many places
I have no idea, from what i've gathered its something around that though. I kinda think that being that many hours would be a good thing though, y'know more time studying with people there might help(well for me at least) Do you know when we get timetables? I read somewhere the first week of...
But call the uni. To my knowledge from what I was told yes, you do. I'm not sure if it's just that they need to check it or they need to photocopy it as proof, so if it's that they just need to see it you might get someone nice that will let you go with an old school id.
You can always go to birth deaths and marriages in the city, you can get a birth certificate printed and given to you on the spot. Although the sooner they give it to you the more expensive it is
YeAh you deffinatley need some type of photo id. No way you can just walk in there saying you're someone and they'll give you an Id without some sort of proof of identity. You can get a photo id card from the rta which I don't think are too expensive for a last resort.
Yay FINALLY finished enrolling! We don't have to worry about calculating our fees at the moment do we? As long as we've sent the thing for the hecs loan?
:( every time i called i talked to someone different that knew something different:@ half of them knew nothing, and half of them were like oh yeah this is what you have to do, but by the time i finally worked out what was wrong i called back for them to fix it and they were closed :( so...
