congrats everyone who got into a college definately the most fun is had at baxter. Daedalus, baxter is the best for lanning, though none of the colleges are very good for it. And yes, all the colleges are networked to each other (including even new, shalom, warrane by ip). Don't worry about...

internet is expensive, you pay by the Mb. I think its 18c/meg at New but you start with 130 or so free. At Baxter its 15c/meg but you don't get any to start with. I am pretty sure you can have TVs at New, Warrane is very different (eg no locks on doors).

Baxter. Which, of course, is the best :) but they are all pretty good

college i live at college at UNSW and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone... its a very easy lifestyle.. rooms are big enough, food is decent (i rekon), great for meeting people etc etc etc

great at english not as in HSC english analyse text BS, great at english as in can write fast, coherently and precisely.

essays if you choose geography over chemistry, understand you will have to be very good at writing a lot fast. 3 essays in the exam means you have to be great at english and have fast handwriting (start practisng early)

i've been advised its a good idea to do electrical rather than telecomm unless you're sure.. because its easy to transfer from electrical to telecom, and you'll have a better idea of what you want to do after a few years of uni. It leaves more options open and isn't a disadvantage

yeah its not all that good... 95% of it is these massive set of excercises which might be good if u did them, but look like they take so f'in long i doubt anyone has ever done them. It does have a few decent summaries... like the one for people and economic activity it provides a good 1-page...
