I need to decide on a language for International Studies next year and I can't decide between Mandarin, Korean or Japanese.
I think Mandarin would be the most useful and perhaps the most interesting to learn but it's probably the hardest.
Japanese i'd like to do, but I am worried that the...
Does anyone do this? if so, are there any specific differences between it and a B Arts? I was thinking of doing it at UNSW, but the MQ units look more interesting.
Any opinions welcome.
GENL2031
Ease: 8/10 (only 2 assignments, an easy case note and a 2500 word essay with all information provided anyway)
Lecturer(s): 5/10 David (Ok, but goes off on a tangent way too often but knows what he's talking about)
Interest: 4/10 - Pretty boring tbh but it's an easy 3 credits.
Overall: 6/10
I have an essay due in on friday so i go to level 4 (WHICH HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR AGES) to get books but ALL THE USEFUL ONES ARE NOT ON THE SHELVES! ARGHHHHHHH I've resorted to shitty books from the 1980s :/
Another question.
I've decided to do Asian Studies I checked the timetables and the classes weren't full in S1 so i'm hoping I can do it in S2.
As I need to do something else on the side as well due to B Arts needing Dual majors or a minor so say i take something like History, next year in S1...
Nah, i was too lazy to do school so i'm a "mature age student" bah i'm only 21 :( I feel old.
The timetables from S1 show that the classes aren't paticularly full so we should have a good chance to get in ^_^.
Not sure what it's like (it's my second choice) :D
Check the course plans etc on handbook.unsw.edu.au
and also the timetable! perhaps we'll be in class together? :D
Hello,
I am thinking of doing a B Arts starting S2 this year I am trying to decide which 2 majors to do.
Does anyone here do Asian Studies? Is it worth doing this with something such as Chinese or Korean Studies? Or is it better to do something such as International relations or History? Or...
Yes, I found the documents online, it's not "so" bad I found out i'm entitled to local student rates so it's approx $7k down from $23k - Panic averted :D
