Does anyone have any resources for the upcoming 40% midsem Saturday week?
Topics include: security valuation, annuities, capital markets and capital budgeting.
Any material would be amazing considering the weighting of the exam and difficulty of the final.
Cheers
I'm really worried about the level of maths required for the finance major.
I have 2Unit proffiency so I'm just wondering if I need to spend the break learning aspects of 3u and 4u.
So my question is how maths intensive is a major in finance (esp Portfolio)?
Thanks
Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone has past papers for ACCT1501, ECON1101 and MGMT1001 (I know). I know that most courses have evolved but you'll be massive life saver if you could share. Thanks

Hey Guys,
I plan to major in Finance and I was going to choose FIN1613 in Sem.2 but then a friend told me that it's super hard in Sem 2 and should leave it till next year and do 1612 instead but I heard it's really boring. So is 1612 a common prerequisite for more advanced finance levels...
Hey guys just need some general advice on the difficulty level of econ1203 (into business stats).
Consider my situation however, did Gen Math in high school but dropped from 2u Prelim. I therefore only know basic differentiation etc and probability is pretty good.
With that in mind is it...
It's just that when I ask people what they're doing more often than not its commerce and something. That's what I'm afraid of like not being able to distinguish myself from the rest. So com/law does sounds appealing now.
