Our teacher tells us to address the source directly in the first paragraph "the source suggest..."etc, but to then intersperse relevant quotes throughout the rest of the essay :) goodluck !

That's very broad and it might be hard to focus on historiography of that topic, which is what history extension is about. I suggest choosing an event or personality, and if you still wish to bring in media, make your focus question surrounding...how the media has influenced it's/ their...

Try extension for a term or two and see how it is. It's very different to ancient and modern but it really helps with both of them, my marks shot up as soon as I picked up extension. It's also not that much work, if you keep on top of it and start your major work early and work on it...
