Well, I only really want to do maths if totally necessary since I won't be taking it in 3rd year. I'm mostly wanting to know if the combination of 2 psych units + USSC and another 1st year non-science elective is acceptable for BSc? (From the info I've read it seems to be okay but I just want a...
Well when I re-enrolled I thought I should do it because I always liked maths (even if my marks last year might not have reflected that lol) but now that I'm seeing my timetable together it seems kind of silly to do a maths subject (which will probably take a lot of effort from me) when I'm not...
Hi! So, I'm going into 2nd year BSc with a major in Psych and after reading looking through these sites below I need a second opinion.

Hi! So I'm first year bachelor of science...I'm pretty sure I'll pass every unit except PHYS1001 and I was wondering if that means I can leave it behind and forget about it or will I have to repeat it?? I tried finding info on the website but everything is pretty vague.
Thanks in advance!

From what I've read, as long as you get a credit or higher in both PHYS1001 and PHYS1003 then you can continue onto advanced levels in second year - which should satisfy my requirements for the advanced science :)
Awesome! I'm hoping it won't be too difficult compared to physics, which I...
Ah okay, thank you for the information! The UoS plan I have so far is as follows (where physics will be the first advanced major and psychology will be the second major?) -
SEM1
1. MATH1001
2. MATH1002
3. PSYC1001
4. PHYS1001 Physics (regular)
5. HPSC1000 Bioethics
SEM2
1. MATH1003

Thanks, I will definitely be doing PSYC1001/PSYC1002 :)
Also, it says you should do 12 more junior science electives and 12 other electives - would doing PHYS1001 and PHYS 1005 (Astronomy) be appropriate?
Also, can the other 12 units be ANYTHING (e.g. something not science related like...
Hi there :) I was just wondering what units are appropriate to choose if I want to major in psychology. I've been looking through this list but I'm a little confused over what subjects are relevant to what I want to do and which aren't.
Any help is appreciated!
