An ATAR of 80 is very achievable with those subjects. Sometimes doing easy subjects is more beneficial in the long run as it is easy to ace them and consequently get a high ATAR. As long as she works hard and puts in the study hours, she should be able to get 80+.
Hi everyone,
I graduated in 2018 with an atar of 97.2. I'm selling Band 6 notes, they are extremely detailed and comprehensive and will be super helpful!
COMMUNITY AND FAMILY STUDIES - 95
STUDIES OF RELIGION II - 95
ANCIENT HISTORY - 92

Advanced Maths is really hard - maybe consider do you really need to do it? for example is it a prerequisite for the uni degree you're interested in?
consider the impact that it will have on your other hsc studies as well - are you doing so poorly that it will drag down your whole atar or stop...
Keep in mind that Medicine and Law are very long, hard roads and you really should only do them if you're 100% passionate about them. You're only in Year 11 so perhaps take the time to think about it a bit more.
My suggestion would be to do a general undergraduate degree in something you're...
Do Studies of Religion!! It actually scales quite well if you do good in it.
Just think about it .. easier subject + slightly less content = better chance of doing well
Good luck!
Well PROBABLY but it isn't guaranteed. From my experience it isn't easy to get a band 6 in biology, you have to really know your stuff. I remember doing every past paper multiple choice and getting 18 + in everyone, then in the actual hsc I got 13 because our exam was nothing like the past...
I don’t think so. My parents got TERs in like the 60s or something whereas I got high 90s. Depends on your study routine and motivation.
