It was a fairly straight forward exam. But I thought the questions were a little broad. u really had to be selective and critical in ur arguement...

Yay, u did have to write about whole life, i was worried that I was going off on a tangent, lol :) 18 pages is still impressive... large handwriting by any chance? :P
I thought it was the perfect exam for what I had studied :) U had to think a little when it came to...
The major work invites u to select a topic that is surrounded by historiographical issues. You are then required to research ur topic (keeping a journal): read a variety of historians takes on ur chosen topic. ur job is not to decide which historian is right and which is wrong but to analyse why...
Exactly... that is exactly what I plan to do next year...
Wanted to do RSA and RGA course at end of yr but apparently u can't do it unless ur 18 so I'll have to find another job... lol
Plans after that = either dance/education (dream) but prob will undertake a law and arts (history or political...
I totally understand, in yr 11 i was near top of class in physics and now i'm near bottom :( wish i'd done bio instead...
btw mod hist = best subject, missed out big time by not doing it, lol :D
Hooray!!!! We were pretty much self taught in Adv English, so glad it's over...
But damn ext 1 - although 2 questions, 2 hours = bliss compared to writing liking a maniac for 40mins :p
I agree, some ppl are crazy with how many pages they write, lol... :p I just hope the whole 'quality not quantity' rule applies...

OMG! 7 booklets, that's inspiring! How did u do it? I write fast and only just managed to fill one booklet per question by spending equal time on each section! 7 = wow, i admire u Miffstaa!!!
I used Mao's Last Dancer as well, the whole human spirit thing matched Li's 'journey' perfectly, yay! But i agree, what can u write in 40 mins which ends up being around 30-35 if u plan & proof read?
I am a crammer too but have become quite good at it, so good teachers don't believe me when I explain that I could have worked harder!
Tips: Get up early in the mornings, pick the key points to study.
Maths = learn formulas, look over past HSC qu's and try a couple if u have time, practice...
Finished Ext 2 a few weeks ago. :)
Advice for u guys:
Work hard during Christmas holidays and aim to get it finished as soon as possible!
It is a great subject with freedom and you can really have a lot of fun with it.
So go for it and remember work hard and get it finished!!!
