I'm really hoping for a 33/45. I would be ecstatic.
Overall, the paper was really straight forward.
I lost a lot of time on section 1 which was a huge disappointment later on, but yeah...
Should have gone over my techniques.
The picture was really pretty this year.
But I found it really hard to extract techniques from the other three texts...
I wish they gave us a poem because then I wouldn't have wasted as much time making up techniques.
As You Like It fit really well into the question and so did my related texts.
It was basically my thesis reworded so I was really glad.
Too bad I couldn't write as much as I was planning to.
I don't think mine fit at all. It was about a person who could not belong unless they had coffee... I shoved the stimulus in at random places though. I reckon it's a 9/15 at best.
They usually ask for at least 1.
Therefore, find some more things to write about both texts just in case.
But, my tutor always told me that since we are in Eng Advanced, If they ask for AT LEAST one related, we should be doing more than at least one anyway.
I have a lot to live up to. My dad got a 98 (back in the 80s) and 3 of my cousins got 98, 96 and 94 respectively.
I'm most likely the dumbest person in my entire family and I would seriously die with happiness if I got 80 to 85.
That is so weird.
At my school, the Yr 10 classes are streamed so that the most academic classes have the most choice etc, etc.
We get interviewed on our subject choices and the teachers can recommend that you do/drop a subject... unless you have done consistently bad throughout 7-10, they...
I used to do three sciences back in year 11.
Each science was so different so it was never boring.
I never really thought "oh hey, I'm doing 3 sciences omg" throughout the entire year.
I ended up dropping physics because I never learnt anything.
Maths and English are by far the most demanding...
