for edutest, you want to have 3 superior to 4 superiors. but then maybe 5 for year 10.
year 10 entry can be really tough (only 2 people accepted this year), anwyay dont be too disappointed if you dont get it for year 10 entry and try...
i assume he is thinking of applying for next year into yr11, we only took 2 people into year 10 and they both started already.
i have few friends at nsb and imo ruse and nsb isn't too different other than co-curriculars offered and being co-ed vs boys only.
many talks on about rank 1 vs 2 but...

dw about connections. on the orientation day, you will meet your buddy who you can ask any questions. on top of that, ususally gc and discord created by the transfers.
i am not sure but from what i remember, once they get your edutest result, two teachers look at your reports and portfolio and grade them, then it goes to interview. good luck!
always impressed at how well Sethio writes. agree that edutest practice papers are useless. total waste of time and you might get a wrong impression that it is really easy.

curious, when did you start studying for ucat? i heard as early as year 8, mostly year 11, some starting at year 12 (who still managed to scored great marks but they are probably super smart anyway)
are you referring that 2 people transferred into year 8 ruse this year?
if it is, that's correct info (although they didn't get to come at orientation day). 29 of us transferred into year 9 this year (~13 or 14 boys from my memory). I glanced through your previous posts and saw you spoke to both...
