personally i believe its for the best, clearly assisted suicide was chosen on the basis of both the patient and the doctor's opinion which means that the patient clearly has no saving so why should they suffer any more? To die painfully is not something anyone wants to go through so the choice of passing without pain is very understandable hence assisted suicide should be legal.

my opinion remains the same, after all even if some form of a cure was formed during their adult life they would still have to suffer through very heavy mental and physical pain no? And again if they were going to go through assisted suicide as a child then that means there was already consensus among their doctors that the pain they have to go through is not worth it for a cure that might never exist.

we studied this topic in sor under bioethics in christianity, tbh assisted suicide just depends on people's morals, faith and belief

i think it should be allowed with strict conditions (terminal illness, causing dehabiliating pain or no hope for any comfortable future)
I don't mean to be insensitive here, but taking care of people with severe disabilities/conditions/illnesses that cause constant issues (like pain/discomfort for the sufferer, or unresponsiveness) that cannot be cured is not only cruel to them but incredibly taxing for the family (financially, emotionally, and probably physically)

Yeah under the circumstances harper said, I think it’s valid there’s no use in caring for someone who’s just gonna suffer for the rest of their life, like she said it’s so hard for the patient and family both emotionally and financially
