Hi for the former students, how much content did u do for the holidays and what do u recommend of how much to do. Also did this in any way help u?

not much tbh, i took it pretty easy and did bits and pieces of study.
however, i would recommend reviewing your notes from t4 for all subjects, especially for the sciences to make sure you're not relearning stuff while you are learning new stuff in class which builds upon what you did in the previous term

if you do 3u/4u maths, i would definitely consider doing some textbook questions to warm up in the week or so before school starts to make sure you're ready to learn new stuff. i found that holidays sucked for me for maths, because i came back to school and felt like i couldn't do the problems that i was doing easily at the end of the previous term because i stopped doing maths for even just 2 or 3 weeks.

but nah chill for a bit because this is the last actual chill holiday before this time next year, which will be sooo good and worth it. if you get a good atar and good marks, life after HSC is so good and chill because you can just put your feet up and relax

just be consistent and build good relationships with your teachers

I mean personally I would do as much as I can these holidays -> Saying this as a 25er like you
Of course take regular breaks and Im not pressuring you in anyway but if you really wanna get the atar you want, just grind as much as you can imao

remember there a thousands of thousands of students sweating they ass off to get that top atar whatever -> that may or may not be your goal but whatever it is just make sure you don't give in
Yeah the guy above is right as its your 'last holiday' but do remember that we 25ers graduate in like 9 months and sit our hsc in (less than 10 months) and those months are gonna fly.And this actually a bit controversial but our last actual holiday was September. This aint even a holiday (Sorry not sorry)

So dont get complacent and LOCK IN and grind grind grind (And ofc take plenty of breaks in between imao)

it can be good to get ahead, i did most of 4u syllabus over the holidays but i only did a textbook chapter a day. however if you're going to burn out then it's not really worth it, you have a while to learn everything but if you know you'll benefit it's definetly worth it

just make sure u chill as well because the year ahead will prob be stressful

bruh, my eco teacher set 20+ hours of homework in its self.

during holidays i finished up my notes for module 5 to make sure i was all caught up. i also did some revision, specifically for earth and environmental science. i think it was beneficial and would recommend everyone to catch up during t4 break. once you start getting behind on modules it gets harder and more overwhelming to catch up, especially since as you progress through hsc it can get harder to study as you burn out. starting notes for mod 6 content also isnt a bad idea if you have time, you got 6 weeks off so you may as well start before you get bogged down by assignments.
