Yep, I've redone the algebra topic this year as I underestimated how much it is used.
I'm doing Permutations, Combinations and Probability right now. We've only done one exercise & that was like year 10 work summed up again. I miss the lollies in a bag questions.

umm...for tutoring, we're doing curve sketching, asymptotes and limits, and i don't really understand the limits of functions...can you explain?

i don't have the answer...it's a problem solving question so obviously they won't ask it in yr 11
i did.. the question is find a^ 3 (in the form of ka+L where k and L are integers) when a^2 is a+2
== ok, i give up...the closest i got was a^3 = (a+2)+-sqrt of (a+2) or somehow i got a^3 = ((6a+12)/(a^2))+9
really? i can't really ask tutoring stuff coz i haven't attempted it yet :L but at the moment i'm working on this problem solving question: if a^2 = a+2, then a^3 =? (answer in the form of a^3=ka+l where k and l are integers)...i want to try it a few more times so if you get the answer, would you tell me if 10mins time?
